Congratulations to our video contest winners
CEE asked K–12 students “What should the next President do to improve the economy?” and we received creative, entertaining and thoughtful advice from our nation’s students. Thanks to all of the teachers and students who entered. You used this contest as an opportunity to discuss the importance of the economy, and the role it plays this election season.
One winner was chosen by CEE Facebook fans and 3 winners were chosen by economists selected as judges by CEE. Prizes include a $500 American Express gift card for each teacher winner, and $25 iTunes gift cards for the student(s) featured in the winning videos.
View the winners and let us know in the comments who you think had the best advice. You can also use this opportunity to host viewing parties and school assemblies to discuss the ideas in the videos.
Nov. 27 Webinar: Learning, Earning and Investing – Meet the Author
Join us on November 27 for a free webinar featuring the newly revised teacher resource Learning, Earning and Investing for a New Generation. This webinar will present an overview of the book, and we’ll be joined by one of the authors of LEI, Scott Niederjohn from Lakeland College, to learn how the authors improved the curriculum resource for classroom use. Scott will highlight some of his favorite lessons, and show you how to integrate LEI with Gen i Revolution.
