Please read the Proposal Guidelines (PDF) and then complete all of the sections below. Proposals that are not fully completed or do not meet the guidelines will not be accepted for consideration.

Please specify who this session is intended for. Sessions intended for Affiliates will be scheduled for Thursday and Friday. Sessions intended for K-12 Educators will be scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Type of Session:

Each of the sessions are intended to be informal presentations that include opportunities for presenter-audience interaction.

Research Session (90 minutes)

Entire Research Session: If you propose an entire research session you should submit at least four papers for presentation and an equal number of discussants. A moderator should also be listed (could be either a presenter or discussant). If you are submitting (4 papers) please submit an online RFP for each paper.
Research Paper: If you propose to present a research paper, your paper will be assigned to a research session and be matched up by theme or topic. A discussant would be assigned to each paper and a moderator would be assigned.

Poster Session (60 minutes)

These sessions are visual poster presentations that provide an opportunity to have an informal discussion between presenters and participants.

Please provide a description of the presentation in 75 words or less as you would like it to appear in the conference program. The title and abstract should match this presentation description.


Program Description: (For review by the Conference Committee)
Please be specific in describing the proposed session objectives, instructional strategies, learning objectives, techniques, and importance of the content to the audience. Clarity and length of description will be an important factor in determining acceptance of the proposal.

Conference Track:

Economic content: These sessions focus on key concepts in economics, personal finance, or entrepreneurship education.
Pedagogy: These sessions focus on teaching strategies and classroom activities in teaching the content above.
Management: These sessions focus on management topics or issues for Council for Economic Education and its affiliated state Council/Center for Economic Education personnel.
Research: These sessions cover topics in K-12 economics, personal finance, or entrepreneurship education research.
Technology applications: These sessions focus on technology in economics, personal finance, or entrepreneurship education.


Audiovisual Requirements:

The CEE will provide an LCD digital projector and screen in each meeting room. All meeting rooms will have internet access. You are responsible for bringing your own laptop computer. Other audiovisual equipment (e.g. VCR, DVD, etc. can be order from the Intercontinental Hotel at your expense.)

Request for Technology Lab: (If this is a technology session that requests the on-site computer lab*, describe how the individual computer stations will be used by participants.) Lab slots for sessions are limited, so not all requests can be accommodated.
* An on-site computer lab will be equipped with 20 laptop computers (with CD-ROM running Windows and Internet connectivity) and an LCD projector.
