Tour #1: Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City

Purpose: To introduce economic and financial educators to the Federal Reserve financial institution in order to explore their place in the larger economy, the historical roles they’ve played, and the modifications made to meet the challenges of the current economy and those of the future.
Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Teachers will visit the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City for an educator workshop experience specifically designed for conference attendees. This workshop, held at the headquarters site in midtown Kansas City, will include a guided tour of the interactive Money Museum and Cash vault operations, as well as an introduction to new Fed resources developed to support economic and personal finance classroom instruction.
