This workshop is open to all teachers of financial literacy.  Using CEE’s Financial Fitness for Life and other resources, Dr. O’Neill will address the following topics: managing cash flow; the wise use of credit; establishing liquidity whether single, married, divorced, or cohabitating; various types and kinds of insurances; saving and investing and other essential financial concerns.  The workshop is designed to acquaint teachers to the fact that women have unique financial needs and thus must be stressed for entry into life after high school.   Attendees will come away with information which will allow them to understand the need to take charge of their financial future. All participants will benefit both personally and professionally.  Lessons will focus on well documented issues facing women and to raise awareness for the need to be financial literate.  Empowerment and action leads to  a better life. Registration for this workshop begins at 8:30 a.m.
