What is it?
Hands on Banking®, a program by Wells Fargo, is a free, fun financial education program that presents the basics of smart money management in an easy-to use format. Topics include budgeting, the importance of saving, bank accounts and services, borrowing money and establishing credit, investing, and more.
Who is it for?
Hands on Banking can be used by teachers and their students in and out of the classroom. It is designed for self-paced individual learning as well as for classrooms and community groups. This free program contains no commercial content and is available in both English and Spanish on the web, on CD-ROM, or in print by accessing the contact information on the Hands on Banking website.
Each teacher training guide has a section on how to navigate the program, a sample workshop agenda, sample lessons, teacher resources, and valuable information for administering a teacher training workshop.
