Description
In today’s era of interdisciplinary studies, this new title created specifically for math teachers shows how mathematics concepts and knowledge can be used to develop economic and personal financial understandings. Mathematics teachers need not have a background in economics in order to implement the curriculum.
Each lesson includes student activities, overhead transparencies, and background information on the economic content and how it relates to mathematics. Extension activities where students can apply their mathematics and economics knowledge to real world situations are provided.
