Lessons in the publication span the period 10,000 BC to the early 1800s, and across world cultures from the Americas to Europe, Africa, and Asia. Lessons demonstrated in this program include “The Silk Road,” “Athens and Olive Oil,” “Business in the Middle Ages: Working in a Guild,” “Christopher Columbus, Entrepreneur? Queen Isabella, Venture Capitalist?,” “What’s the Big Deal about Spices?,” and “Renaissance Banking.” Program participants will receive a copy of the book on Global History and lunch.
