NYC “Professional Day” – A Collaboration of the ATSS/UFT and the Council for Economic Education. Learn more about the newest version of Virtual Economics 4.0 and EconEdLink. This workshop will focus on hands-on training. Participants will be given time to explore the newest innovations in VE for teachers and for students (new) which include: updated content for the 51 concepts, short quizzes added for each concept, online resources integrated for each concept, new film clips, and twenty new publications have been added, including “Teaching Financial Crises” and “Financial Fitness for Life (K-12)”. Participants will receive personalized instruction on how the resources can be implemented into any Global, U.S. History, Government or Economics course. If you have a laptop computer, please bring it to the workshop.
