Founded in 1949 as the Joint Council on Economic Education, today the Council for Economic Education is the premier source of teacher training, educational materials and curriculum reform in economics.

Through our Affiliated Councils and Centers, newly formed GATE organization, and EconomicsAmerica Schools Program, we are working to reach as many people as possible.
