It is strictly prohibited to use or contact this site in a manner which disrupts or damages the site, its contents or its security measures, or to harass, disparage or adversely affect the reputation of CEE or our directors, officers or employees or our products or services or personnel, or to interfere with the use and enjoyment of this site by other users.  No unsolicited email (spam) may be directed by you to or through this site.  You may not mirror any material contained on this site on any other server. You may not frame or use framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of CEE without our prior written permission. Information Collection

We generally collect personally identifiable information (including your name, email address, physical address, telephone number and/or credit card number; collectively, “Personal Information”) only with your specific knowledge and consent, such as when you respond to forms on this site, register with this site, purchase products through this site, contact us, make donations to us or join our email newsletters.  Additionally, our servers may also automatically collect certain technical information about your visit (such as the pages you visit, your IP address, type of browser, operating system and similar information).

CEE employs “cookies” to provide better service to the visitors on this site. CEE does not use cookies to collect any personally identifying information from users or to track user activities beyond our site. Cookies are small pieces of temporary data that are exchanged between a web site and a user’s computer which enable a “session”, or “dialog” to be established between the two machines. With the session established, CEE is able to tailor its responses (i.e., identify and provide you with the information you want) and help you traverse our web pages in the most efficient and effective manner possible. The session is broken when our server does not receive further requests from your computer or you simply exit your browser. CEE limits its use of cookies to “session cookies”– types of cookies that are temporarily stored in your computer’s memory. Session cookies are normally deleted from a user’s computer when the user logs off the computer or the user exits the browser. In the event a cookie is found on your workstation, which was issued by the CEE server, you may remove it without adversely affecting your future visits to our site. You have the option of disabling cookies by accessing the tools provided to you in your Internet options. However, please note that you may not have full access to the website if you change your cookie settings to disable them.

The information collected by us is used solely for the business of CEE and the efficient operation of our web site.  We do not sell or rent Personal Information to third parties.
We use email addresses that you enter through this site only to communicate with you, including to send out our newsletter, to update you on the operations and initiatives of CEE, and to solicit donations. We use credit card information entered through this site solely for the specific purpose for which it was entered (such as to process a financial contribution or payment for products purchased through this site).  We also use your personal information, where applicable, for tax purposes and periodic mailings soliciting donations. We share certain information collected through this site on a confidential basis with contractors engaged by us for purposes described above, including credit card processors for the purpose of obtaining payment on purchases and contributions made by credit card through this site.  We also use information collected through this site to track site usage by volume and for site management and security purposes.   Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits. Raw data logs are retained temporarily as required for security and site management purposes only,

We are committed to using our best efforts to maintain the security of your Personal Information and we utilize industry-standard security protocols to protect the confidentiality of all Personal Information held by us.  Personal information submitted by you is stored in a password-protected database solely for use of CEE and made available to the appropriate department within CEE (including, in certain instances, by transmission through email).  Credit card information may be shared with our credit card processor on a confidential basis for the sole purpose of processing credit card charges. Certain of our servers and network infrastructure are “hosted” through third party providers who have agreed to utilize information held by or transmitted through them solely for the purposes and in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.

Although we use our best efforts to protect the security of your Personal Information and our systems, the inherently open nature of the Internet means that no transmission through the Internet, and no computer or server connected to the Internet, can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  As a result of this and other factors beyond our control, we cannot guarantee the security of the information that you transmit to or through our website.  Therefore, you assume that risk by using this site.

If you do not want to receive email and/or mailings from us in the future, please let us know by sending an email to us at the contact address below in the paragraph “How to Contact Us”, requesting to be removed from our email/mailing list.  In addition to this, it is our practice to include a link in email correspondence that we send to you that will enable you to remove yourself from our mailing lists. Please note that there might be a brief delay between when you submit your request to opt-out and when it is processed and reflected in our systems; accordingly you might continue to receive communications from us for a limited time after you unsubscribe.
