CEE Financial Literacy Month Giveaway Requirements

1. Eligibility: All educators who teach at a US registered high school (grades 9–12) or middle school (grades 6–8) and who have at least 10 students who start the Intuit Hour of Finance™ Challenge per Intuit definition of a “Player” are eligible for the giveaway.

  • A “Player” is any individual student in grades 6–12 in a U.S.-based middle or high school who enters their unique school Join Code, creates a character avatar, and enters the gameplay world on Intuit Prosperity Quest™. A player “Starts the Challenge” when they enter the join code and start playing the first month within the Game.

2. Eligibility Period: The giveaway eligibility period begins on April 1, 2025, and ends on April 30, 2025. Only CEE eligibility forms received within this timeframe are eligible for the drawing.

3. How to Enter: To enter the giveaway, educators must:

  • Register to The Intuit Hour of Finance™ Challenge from a CEE tracked link. CEE tracked links can be found on EconEdLink.org, Councilforeconed.org, CEE Facebook and LinkedIn pages, and promotional email
  • Have at least 10 students who play Intuit’s Hour of Finance Challenge.
  • Complete the CEE Giveaway Entry Form with their name, email, school name and zip code, and join code.

4. Prize: One grand prize winner will receive:

  • Free entry to the CEE 64th Annual Financial Literacy and Economic Education Conference to be held in New Orleans on October 18 and 19, 2025.
  • Breakfast and lunch at the conference on October 18 and 19.
  • Two hotel nights at the Sheraton New Orleans. Nights must be between October 17 and October 20, 2025.
  • Transportation reimbursement to and from the Conference up to $500. Transportation expenses can be airfare, train fare, rideshare, taxi, car rental, or gasoline purchase.

5. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the entry period. The drawing will take place the week of May 19.

6. Notification: The winner will be notified via email within 3 business days of the drawing. If the winner does not respond within 5 business days, an alternate winner will be selected.

7. General Conditions: By participating in the giveaway, entrants agree to abide by these rules and the decisions of the organizers, which are final and binding.

8. Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow CEE to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

9. Limitation of Liability: CEE is not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or any other issues that may affect the entry process or the outcome of the giveaway.
