Leslie Finnan

Leslie Finnan leads advocacy efforts for the Council for Economic Education (CEE), where she manages FinEd50, a national coalition of nonprofits, researchers, corporate partners, and professional organizations committed to advancing personal finance education. In her role at CEE, she advocates for policies that protect and expand access to personal finance and economic education throughout the country.

Before joining CEE, Leslie worked in federal education advocacy as Policy Director at the National Association of Federally Impacted Schools and Legislative Analyst for AASA: The School Superintendents Association. She began her career as a Peace Corps volunteer, teaching 5-11th grade English in Kyrgyzstan.

Leslie holds a Master of Public Policy from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College. She lives in Washington, DC, with her husband and two sons.
